Fresh Air Miles Challenge
Raising money for Tree Aid Africa and Tijhza Village, Morocco.
A simple idea:
- Travel 500 miles using non-motorised transport
- Exercise in the outdoors and feel happy
- Raise money for two very good causes
- Challenge ourselves (because a bit of a challenge is good for everyone)
What is 500 Fresh Air Miles?
The 500 Fresh Air Miles Challenge is something that we have set ourselves to complete before September 2015.
We wanted to do something physical, in the outdoors, that got us active and exercising, as well as raising money for two good causes.
The 500 miles will be travelled on foot, bike, kayak, SUP, canoe, scooter … ie. using non-motorised transport.
The charitable projects we are supporting are:
Tree Aid Africa – raising money to plant trees in Africa’s drylands
Tijhza Village – a village in the High Atlas Mountains, Morocco, recently damaged by storms and floods, and in need of aid for its redevelopment and improving the lives of the village children.
Please help us raise money by donating on our Just Giving page.
Thank you.
