The weather and conditions (wind, snow and ice) may have scuppered our plans to reach the summit, but it was the right decision to turn back – as a many other did. Maybe some other time we’ll manage to reach the summit.

Anyway, we clocked up another 5.8 miles (and quite hard miles they were too) towards our 500 Fresh Air Miles Challenge total.
