Journey 32 – 2 miles to Stonehenge and back
Rather than take the shuttle bus that ferries tourists from the Visitor Centre to Stonehenge and back, we opted for the one mile walk, taking in the scenery on the way. This not only added a couple of valuable miles to our total but allowed us to take in the panorama of the countryside and iconic stones as they came into view.
The aim of our 500 Fresh Air Mile challenge is to clock up miles gradually, proving a large figure can be accomplished in smaller chunks. This mini journey was completed whilst visiting a tourist attraction but it all counts!
