Journey 36 – 2 mile stroll

Today we met up with friends and roped them into completing a couple of miles with us as part of our 500 Fresh Air Miles challenge. The 2 mile stroll around Malmesbury (once the capital of the UK!) allowed us to catch up, see a new town and walk the dogs all at the same time. Our unofficial tour guide provided us with snippets of information about the town walls, rivers that surround the town, the abbey where Elmer the Monk attempted to fly and the girls that was killed by a tiger when a travelling circus came to visit.

The pace was quite slow as we ambled through the streets, along the river and past farm chatting, watching each mile clock up on the smart phone pedometer. We’re pleased to have added a couple more in the bag and shared a little bit of our challenge with others.
