Journey 4: 4 Miles White Cliffs path

Taking in the stunning white cliffs

One of the key aims of the 500 Fresh Air Miles Challenge is to get out and about and explore the many areas that we are visiting this year in our Year of EdVenture.

We had to complete the White Cliffs walk while we were so close to the iconic Dover cliffs.

It was a beautiful day and we all felt a lot better afterwards – having the cobwebs blown away by the fresh sea air. Thanks to the National Trust’s information boards, we also learned quite a lot about the history of the cliffs and the local area, particularly during World War II.

Shame it was only just over 4 miles – we could have walked for hours!

This journey was completed as part of our 500 Fresh Air Miles Challenge.
