Journey 6: 10 mile scooter safari
Nottingham Big Track
The Big Track is a ten mile car-free track that runs between Beeston Marina and Trent Bridge (in the centre of Nottingham) along the river Trent and the canal. The route travels from suburb to urban, taking in some of the city sights.
Rather than walk or cycle the route, we decided go on a scooter safari, stopping once to cook a quick one-pot, refuel.
So, another 10 miles are nibbled off our challenge target of 500 miles, a challenge we set ourselves and one which will raise £500 for Tree Aid Africa and £1000 for Exodus’ Tijhza Village Project.
This journey was completed as part of our 500 Fresh Air Miles Challenge. Please help us raise £500 for Tree Aid Africa by donating here.
