We’ve all heard of a snow angel, but a sand angel? They’re not as common but the same concept applies to both, except one is done on sand, the other in snow, as their names suggest. Sand angels, though, you can do all year round – you don’t have to wait until winter!

So, next time you’re at the beach, have a go. They’re really easy and only take a few seconds to do. Just lie down, bring your arms and legs outwards and then back to your side again. Repeat a few more times then stand up (maybe with the help of someone else to pull you up without making too big a footprint in the sand!).

Then look back and admire your angel.
