This is a game for 2 or more people that can be played in most outdoor locations – wherever you choose! Don’t worry you don’t need Richard Hammond or an expensive sweeper. All you need is a skipping rope and a parent/friend.

The aim of the game is to jump over the skipping rope that your parent, or friend,  is holding by one end and spinning round (like the sweeper.)  Your ‘sweeper’ will gradually get faster and faster. Then it will get harder. Your sweeper might even make the rope go higher also like the sweeper.  When you can’t jump over the rope or you get hit it is your turn to be in the sweeper.

You can do this any where so why not give it a go? Don’t forget to take a skipping rope with you on your next mini evening adventure!
